Accountant Jobs

The ideal candidate will be familiar HOPEM for residential Real Estate to the extent that they can set it up, enter data and run reports on a regular basis. Client manages 200+ apartments in several buildings using spreadsheets. Client wants to transition to HOPEM to manage rent payments, allocate expenses and receipts as well as reconcile bank/visa statements and generate reports by building.

Responsibilities

• Enter lease and tenant detail into HOPEM
• Compile and analyze financial statements by building
• Advertise for tenants in social media
• Data entry of leases, rents, expenses etc. (No projects - just allocate receipts to buildings) on a weekly basis.
• Set up HOPEM for accounting reports and tax preparation. (Building and tenant profiles, leases, accounts pay/rec etc)

Qualifications

• Able to deal with difficult clients in a professional way.
• Fluency in HOPEM
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience as it relates to residential Real Estate.
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
• French fluency; French/English is an asset.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and social media.
