Job Title: Bookkeeper/Accountant

We are looking for a skilled Canadian Accountant/Bookkeeper with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial principles, be well-versed in accounting software (particularly QuickBooks) or preferred software, have basic knowledge of cryptocurrency transactions and blockchain technology, and be an effective communicator.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.

Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Utilize QuickBooks for day-to-day accounting tasks.

Assist in the transition to alternative accounting software if it proves more efficient.

Demonstrate a basic understanding of cryptocurrency transactions and the ability to track them using blockchain technology.

Collaborate with other team members, including potentially recommending a skilled bookkeeper or accountant for additional support.

Qualifications:

2-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.

Proficiency in QuickBooks (experience with other accounting software is a plus).

Basic knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

Familiarity with the use of Telegram for professional communication.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to explore alternative accounting software solutions if they prove more efficient.

Ability to potentially recommend and collaborate with another accountant for complex tasks.

Compensation:

The annual salary for the Accountant/Bookkeeper position is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience within the range of $45,000 to $55,000 plus bonus. The final salary offer will be commensurate with the candidate's skills, expertise, and relevant work history.
