Job Description
About The Job


We are currently looking for an Accountant for a mid-sized manufacturing unit in Mississauga.


Your Responsibilities


  • File tax returns of an organization and act as an audit representative
  • Prepare and review financial statements
  • Handle payroll, T4s and ROEs
  • Stay up to date with the latest financial and accounting trends and software
  • Audit information and submit financial reports
  • Lead an organization’s accounting department or a team of accountants
  • Perform Controller and Bookkeeper duties
  • Develop and maintain relationships through ongoing communication
  • Assist clients on how to make payments
  • Ensure tax compliance and work with the tax department of an organization
  • Manage a client’s financial activities such as general accounting and cash flow

  • Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000
  • Paid weekly, every Thursday, by direct deposit


Our Requirements


  • Minimum 5 years of experience required
  • Must know how to do statements up to trial balance
  • A strong work ethic and keen attention to financial and accounting details
  • Technological proficiency
  • Experience with QuickBooks online
  • CPA designation is an asset
