Accountant Jobs

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
• Prepare tax documents
• Assist in the implementation and upgrade of financial software systems, ensuring smooth transition and adherence to manufacturing-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and operations, to gather necessary financial information for reporting and analysis.
• Conduct cost analysis and variance analysis to identify areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Perform inventory analysis, including valuation, tracking, and reconciliation, to ensure accurate financial reporting for manufacturing operations.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
• Proficiency in utilizing manufacturing-specific software systems such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) software or materials requirements planning (MRP) software.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and their application to manufacturing financial statements.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principles.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience with financial software implementation and upgrading, specifically in a manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably with a focus on manufacturing or industrial accounting.
