Position Overview:

As an Accountant specializing in commercial real estate brokerage, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing our financial activities related to these areas. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, analyzing investment opportunities, assessing loan applications, and providing financial guidance to our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records related to commercial real estate brokerage and loan transactions. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
2. Loan Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of commercial loan applications, including creditworthiness assessments, financial statement reviews, and risk analysis. Collaborate with loan officers and underwriters to determine loan eligibility and terms.
3. Investment Analysis: Assist in evaluating investment opportunities in commercial real estate projects. Conduct financial analysis, cash flow projections, and ROI assessments to support decision-making processes.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets for commercial real estate brokerage operations and lending activities. Provide insights and recommendations to management for improving financial performance and optimizing resource allocation.
5. Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines governing commercial real estate transactions and lending operations. Stay updated on accounting standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with commercial real estate brokerage operations and loan underwriting processes.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in analyzing commercial real estate projects and loan applications.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, regulations, and practices.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the commercial real estate or lending industry.
