Description
Robert Half is looking for individuals on an accounting-track, seeking an opportunity in the Wholesale Distribution industry as an entry-level Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for data entry, financial statement review, and Excel spreadsheet creation and manipulation. As part of a dynamic team, you will report to the Accounting Manager and have an opportunity for career growth. Do you love Excel and have a positive attitude? Your responsibilities
  • Facilitating full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
  • Facilitating audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits
  • Make monthly journal entries
  • Carrying out other related duties and participating in special projects as assigned
  • Investigating and fixing account discrepancies
  • Making sure that accounts contained in the general ledger are correct
  • Perform data entry
Requirements
  • Required: 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Suggested education is an AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
  • Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
