310T Heavy Duty Mechanic

TalentWorld is sourcing 310T Mechanics for our client in Newmarket.

Our client is the leader in the industry, specifically battery-electric automobiles, buses, medium- and heavy-duty trucks and forklifts.

Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, the 310T Mechanic will repair all buses, understand and complete vehicle reports and enter work orders electronically. On top of that, the 310T Mechanic will be road-testing all vehicles, so a BZ or CZ License is required.

310T Mechanic Responsibilities

• Work with Customer Service Manager to respond accordingly to customer’s needs and resolve them by prioritizing appropriately.
• Perform diagnosis and repairs of warranty-related issues. Provide customer interface and reports on field maintenance activities.
• Provide daily Service reports/Parts requisitions as needed.
• Work closely with Engineers locally and out of headquarters to document any quality-related issue for root cause analysis.
• Initiate parts orders with our parts operations team to ensure the timely processing of orders.

310T Mechanic Qualifications

• General knowledge of truck, bus, automotive and/or vehicle systems.
• A good clean driving record demonstrates the ability to operate a company/customer vehicle safely.
• Must have a valid B or C-class driving license with a Z endorsement.
• 2+ years’ experience in transit and/or commercial vehicle industries.
• A 310-T license is required.

Employment conditions

• Salary: Starting at $82,000 based on experience
