Collaborate with Operations, Learning and vendor stakeholders as the Knowledge Management System administrator.

Supports the management (loading and upkeep) of the organizational knowledge management system (NICE CXone)

Participates in policy and procedure development to help ensure accuracy, consistency and clarify in manuals and published Knowledge Management articles

Proven planning, project and change management skills.

Demonstrated experience managing multiple learning/instructional development projects to meet time, cost and quality requirements.

5+ years’ experience in a consulting, learning partner, program/project management, or account management role

Take accountability for the end to end planning, management and oversight of the learning workstream of the project

Proximity with senior management and openness to new ideas;

Manage key project and business stakeholders to ensure expectations for learning on the project are surpassed

Ensure learning solutions are aligned with the desired Sobeys culture, practices, standards and learning experience guidelines

Secure learning vendors and manage the relationship with and performance of external resources to provide quality and timely work

Ensures Instructor Pilots (IP) meets qualification requirements prior to instructing assignments.

Manages IP, and client training records

VSE – notifies training manager of conflict reports in STARS

Communicating with Program Lead, Training Manager and with Local Instructor Pilots and advise of any pertinent training issues

Any other duties as assigned by the Training Manager

Audits client and IP records

Experience working within the BC Health Sector is highly preferred

Senior Training and Development Specialist Mandatory Skills:

Delivers group and individual instruction and training covering a range of technical, operational, and/or clinical areas in a specified field.

Selects or develops training aids, including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.

Prepare classroom and course materials for training courses, maintain training rosters, schedule and closeout courses in Learning Management System as directed

Understand project management processes and document control procedures

Understand project-specific filing systems, interfaces, and general document control processes and manage the flow of information accordingly

Relevant technical training or experience

1 year document retention/administrative experience

Experience working on projects of high complexity

Consult with management to ensure that training programs are supported, and perform program monitoring for continuous improvement.

Experienced (minimum 3 years) and certified to deliver Use of Force training.

Minimum 6 years of instructional design, training adults, and applying adult learning theory experience.

Facilitate blended learning solutions that include in-person and virtual training programs.

Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities. Draft quality assurance policies and procedures. Interpret and implement quality assurance standards.

Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) designation is an asset.
