Manage Capital projects and control all documents related to Capital Projects.

Possess advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Solid Works

Attain, maintain and organize specification approvals of production drawings and specification procedures

8+ years’ direct work experience

Strong working knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Lean Manufacturing techniques.

Experience with steel fabrication, manufacturing processes and machine design

Provide engineering support for manufacturing activities to help maximize production

Perform engineering analysis of manufacturing activities, evaluate efficiency gains and make recommendations for improvements

Investigate issues in production, analyze root causes, and derive resolutions

Provide statistical analysis of the date to support the reports.

Generation and implementation of change controls and engineering notices (ECO).

Develop statistically based sampling plans for in-process and final testing and inspections, and validations.

Troubleshooting equipment/processes that do not perform as intended during validation runs.

Recommend process/quality improvements as part of validation runs. Evaluate, investigate and document non-conformances incidents and/or protocol deviations.

Complete assigned Non-Conformance and CAPA investigations and prepare investigation reports.

Forging and Heat Treating experience an asset

Induction Heating experience an asset

Minimum three to five years’ experience in manufacturing engineering

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Professional Engineer (P. Eng) preferred

High level of proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD

Proven experience in continuous improvement projects is a must

Knowledge and Skill of Solidworks and Cam-Works are Highly Desired;

Computer Skills (Solidworks 3D design software);

Excellent oral and written communication skills;

Experience in Programming is desired languages (C\C++\Visual\Lab-view (Highly Desired)\Python);

Experience in Part Machining is highly preferred;

Compensation: $80k - $92k Base + Benefits PACKAGE

5 years of experience in manufacturing, especially in electronics production

Electrical design, control systems, and PLC programming skills are assets

Intermediate level team facilitation, teaching, coaching, and presentation skills

Experience with NX, Process Simulation, TeamCenter, SAP

Minimum 2 years industry experience in Storage Rack Engineering and experienced in development of department structure, personnel, prompt outputs and profitability.

Strong knowledge of Canadian Building Code, Canadian Welding Bureau, RMI, AISI and other related codes and standards.

Extensive knowledge of manufacturing of mechanical structures.

Deep knowledge of Cold Forming Steels (CFS) principals.

Strong working experiences with Cold Forming Devices (Shear and Bending).

Extensive knowledge of Manufacturing Process.

You have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering or equivalent experience.

You possess strong observation and analytical skills to troubleshoot process and quality-related issues.

You possess at least 5 years of execution in world-class, high-volume manufacturing process development.

You have an excellent grasp of foundational and state of the art manufacturing process development techniques.

You have competency in modelling software such as Solidworks, Inventor, or similar.

You drive continuous improvement of manufacturing activities through detailed analytical reviews, process automation and fixture/tooling design.

Provide ES&O product maintenance support to review, search, verify alternate electrical components sources

Apply knowledge of electrical/mechanical engineering to drive containment and corrective action implementation into production

2 – 4 years of relative work experience

Knowledge of controls logic and electrical systems

Prior experience with low and high voltage systems, their associated risks and best practices is an asset
