Direct operational risk management experience

Act as a strategic advisor to the Operational Risk Senior Management Team

A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience including fundraising experience. Management experience preferred.

Leading all fundraising aspects in Montreal. Responsibilities include working with the volunteer committee, soliciting donors and corporate sponsor.

Experience working on not-for-profit campaigns and major fundraising events.

Experience with fundraising software preferred.

Represent the organization in the community, providing thought-leadership and establishing/maintaining relationships with community members.

Planning and executing fundraising and stewardship events. Including recruitment of event leadership, program development and administration of the events.

Major Responsibilities and Essential Duties

· Manage test work and process evaluations to ensure the technical feasibility and economics of new projects.

Job Specific and/or Technical Skills Required

· Minimum of 10 years of practical experience in precious metals production operations.

· Experience in testing and design of precious metal hydrometallurgical and poly-metallic selective flotation processes.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills in English required, as well as Spanish and/or Portuguese.

Conduct value assessments (risk and benefit analysis).

University Engineering degree and four or more years’ of related experience.

Relevant industry experience of conducting and managing risk assessments.

Conduct process hazard analysis to identify, evaluate, and control major accident hazards at different stages of the asset life cycle

Apply ALARP principle in risk assessments and communication of results

Engage partners to understand their needs in risk modelling and incorporate them in the development of risk assessment guidelines.

Working closely with the Credit Analysis Group (CAG) and the Asset Restructuring & Recovery Management (ARM) teams to:

Knowledge of relational databases and experience with SQL queries

Programming skills (under Python with restitution using PowerBi technologies)

Good communication and presentation skills

Solid English verbal and written communication skills

Develop a good understanding on credit risk metrics

At least 10 years management experience in handling several teams

Ability to manage team onsite and remotely

Strong understanding of business analytics, business intelligence and financial performance management

Minimum 10 years experience in Professional Services

At least 10 years consulting experience in systems implementation and integration, process re-engineering or related

At least 10 years experience in ERP preferably NetSuite

Strong Engineering/Technical background is required. 7-10+ year of IT and business/industry work experience.

Experience implementing medium and large technology projects and solutions.

Excellent critical thinking skills and a strategic thinking approach to solving problems and identifying innovative solution

Define and implement security compliance management Framework

Provide Risk oversight, by designing and operating an overall security risk management process for the organization

Knowledge and experience with NIST CSF, SOC2, ISO27001 standards and frameworks is a strong asset

7+ years of relevant experience in this role.

Knowledge of policies and procedures related such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPPA and PCI

Successful experience working, collaborating, and establishing credibility and relationships with senior leadership, colleagues, and clients

Knowledge of databases structure and management (SQL, SAS, etc.)

Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem solving skills. Ability to manage complex and challenging processes

Knowledge in the areas of stress testing, predictive models and probability distributions, macroeconomics, and international finance is an asset

3+ years of analytical experience with a financial institution. Other industry experience will be considered based on applicability

Knowledge on credit risk methodology
