Washes, cuts, and properly stores food items as per directions and/or par stocks while ensuring a clean and sanitized work area;

You have at least two years of similar experience in the hospitality or senior-living industry.

Cleaning and sanitizing suites, bathrooms, kitchens, floors and common areas according to a pre-set schedule.

Performing laundry services for residents as needed.

Maintaining the housekeeping room, equipment and carts in safe and sanitary condition.

Replenishing housekeeping carts and managing cleaning chemicals safely.

Greet residents, visitors, and the general public

Receive and redirect external calls, respond to resident inquiries, and provide assistance as required

Operate and maintain all office equipment

Handle general administrative duties such as typing documents, sorting mail, and photocopying

Monitor surveillance cameras, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.

To complete all other tasks as assigned. Required Education, Credentials and Experience:

To be aware of the Resident Rights & Responsibilities and endeavor to respect and promote it;

Preference will be given to individuals who have previous experience in the food service industry and working with seniors

Demonstrates excellent customer service skills

To serve meals to residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner;

To set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service as required;

Planning and conducting surveillance inspections in accordance with scheduling requirements.

Experience in electronic/electrical testing or quality/reliability testing, engineering, electrical inspection, manufacturing or quality control is required.

Familiarity with the “National Electric Code” and/or product compliance requirements to nationally recognized safety standards is a plus.

Knowledge of Quality Control methods (ISO 9000/14000, QS 9000, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen & Statistical Process Control) a plus.

Strong computer and typing skills necessary, including Word and Excel. Previous experience with CRM an asset.

Prepare and manage episode data, transcriptions and other publishing and file management

Proven experience working in a professional podcast, audio, multimedia or broadcast content creation setting
