Program Manager, National Youth Awareness

Excellent organizational, planning, reporting, time management and collaboration skills

3-5 years experience developing, designing and implementing creative and innovative non-formal learning/education programs.

Strong facilitator/moderator skills and experience – able to moderate programs both online and in-person with equal skill and engagement.

Excellent communication skills – oral and written – able to address audiences of all ages and experiences.

Assess, review and recommend any educational software needs, and build corresponding online program and resource support materials.

With support from Sr Manager, YEP develop and maintain annual YEP program budget, set yearly projections, etc.

Strong relationship-building, interpersonal, cross-cultural awareness, time-management, and leadership skills

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Certifications:

Trails will be offering a Bronze Cross course on-site for those in need of certification on June 22-23, 2023

Adheres to Trails behaviour management philosophy with team support, this includes positive, proactive, and constructive feedback to participants

$160 - $200/day — Dependent on qualifications and experience

Requirement for Off-Site Summer Trip Staff:

Provide fully inclusive program to participants of all abilities and skill levels.

Under the guidance of the Program Manager, establishes goals and deliverables for each cycle of a group

Performs receptionist duties including answering the telephone, taking and relaying messages, and redirecting calls to appropriate resources.

Responds to general inquiries about the Youth Crisis Response Program. Provides information to patients/families regarding available resources in the community/hospital.

Maintains and compiles statistical reports on departmental activities.

Attends various meetings including program team meetings and other interdepartmental meetings as required; prepares and provides information related to meeting agendas.

Sets up and maintains filing systems for files such as patient records and correspondence.

Performs timekeeping duties by maintaining timekeeping records for staff and submitting to payroll.

A sense of excitement about their education

Adapt lesson plans to accommodate varying learning needs and skill levels of participants

Provide regular progress updates and feedback on participants' engagement and skill development

Background in computer science, digital technologies, or education

Manages and is financially accountable for ICY operational budget and procurement.

Advocates for and promotes public awareness of ICY teams through supporting the development of a public education strategy to the community.

Ability to manage and supervise a professional team including all related human resource functions.

2+ years’ experience in a supervisory or management role

Build effective teams through task delegation, coaching and performance management (conduct evaluations)

Manage productivity and achieve all business KPIs for email and chat support

Experience working with CMS and Ticketing Software (Salesforce or Zendesk)
