Assist in picking and counting for sales orders, inventory transfer and replenishment for all store locations

Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Electric Quality System.

Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Branch Manager.

Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.

1-3 years or more experience working in a manufacturing type position (preferred).

Forklift Certification (training will be provided)

1-3 years or more of forklift experience

Flexible to either: Afternoon shift, 6:00pm - 2:30am; or Day shift 7:00am - 3:30pm

Clamp truck warehouse associates require certification

Education, Experience And Key Competencies

2+ years of experience in an inventory and warehousing setting

Inventory and warehouse experience in an industrial setting considered an asset

Previous experience working with Business Central – Dynamics 365 considered an asset.

Transportation for Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certification considered an asset.

Strong verbal and written English communication skills

Participate in educational opportunities within the requirements of the position

Experience as a forklift operator is an asset but not a full-time requirement

Years of Experience: 1+ e xperience working in a warehouse environment

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Hardware/Equipment Experience: Experience using manual material handling equipment is an asset (e.g., hand trucks/pump trucks/dollies)

Experience with plumbing parts and materials is an asset

No experience is required, customer service skills are an asset.

Adhere to HACCP program requirements.

Able to perform physical job duties including lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs.

Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety.

Transport feed products into feed warehouse.

Load customer cars and small trucks with retail sacked feed.

$17 per hour with benefits and vacation (after probationary time

Working in a production line environment

Auditing bulk container bags for premium customer

Maintaining a clean work station

Working closely with recycling machinery

Work with a small collaborative team

Utilize computer systems or inventory management software to track inventory levels and update records.

Experience in warehousing and/or logistic

Attention to details and have problem solving skills

Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments of goods and materials.

Sort and organize items in designated storage areas within the warehouse.

Prepare orders for shipment by pulling and packing items according to customer specifications.

Mark pallets with identifying store information to ensure accurate inventory management.

Use a handheld radio frequency device (RF Scanner) for inventory tracking and management.

Demonstrate proficiency in basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency.

Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment or equivalent.
