Warehouse Associate Jobs

Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary to permanent, full-time Warehouse Associate to work at our client, a Canadian leader majoring in auto parts in Burnaby, BC. In this role, you will receive and move materials within the warehouse. As an integral part of the team, you will be verifying the inventory quantity and assisting in inventory level maintenance, maintaining complete and accurate paperwork, and operating warehouse equipment in a safe manner.

• Capable of occasionally sitting, climbing, or balancing with no effort
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency is required
• Should have steel-toe boots
• Should be able to use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk and hear

• Must be able to frequently stop, kneel and crouch or stoop
• Bends/Stoops and reaches into stationary totes to retrieve product Requirements and Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must commit to working the full scheduled shift
• Marks pallets with identifying store information
• Uses lift equipment: manual pallet jack or Forklift (will be certified on-site) as needed once training and certification are completed
• Willing to work overtime when requested, including weekends and holidays
• Medical and dental benefits once qualified
• Uses a hand-held radio frequency device (RF Scanner)
• Picks and stages parts for store replenishment
• Uses basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Hires fast, pays weekly
• Prior warehouse training or experience using a pump truck is preferred but not required

• Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM
• Reads and interprets documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
