Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Reports to: Warehouse Management and Director of Operations
Type: Full Time /Part Time

Purpose
The purpose of the Warehouse Associate is to perform an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock and other. They will be required to utilize industrial trucks equipped to move materials around the warehouse. .
Essential Responsibilities

• Complete time sheets
• Accurately weigh and document materials
• Provide production data on tags or labels
• Accurately ship and receive product
• Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars and lifting devices.
• Light cleaning duties
• Participate in carton inspection for possible damages
• Transport materials to their appropriate locations / Bins
• Assist in special sales events
• Properly affix labels to incoming and outgoing products
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment
• Some overtime may be required
• Follow all workplace safety policies, and compliance regulations
• Support inventory control with accurate documentation

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Perform other duties as need arises to accommodate business needs.
• Clamp truck warehouse associates require certification
• Lastman’s bad boy believes in the training and development of the staff members. Each employee is expected to participate in cross training initiatives. Warehouse associates require certification for forklift / Raymond reach, in house training is made available

• Clear Vulnerable record check (recent within 6 months)
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Computer literate
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional appearance and manners
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times

Extent Of Public Contact

• Works in public area around customers (pick/ups)
• Works daily with co-workers, Managers
• Works with outside contactors

Physical Demands

• Regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in conditions that include heat and humidity, and exposure to dust.
• Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
• Moderate walking, standing and/or climbing, heavy lifting and carrying certain products / tools. Some bending and reaching may also be required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50lb

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT:

• Extreme temperature conditions may be encountered
• Near moving vehicles and loud noise
• Warehouse environment
