The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare orders for shipment by pulling and packing items according to customer specifications.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, including sweeping, organizing shelves, and disposing of waste materials.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations related to warehouse operations.
- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments of goods and materials.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels and report any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production and shipping targets.
- Participate in training programs and stay updated on industry best practices for warehouse operations.
- Sort and organize items in designated storage areas within the warehouse.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks and ensure proper handling of fragile or sensitive items.
- Utilize computer systems or inventory management software to track inventory levels and update records.
- Perform occasional administrative tasks such as generating reports and documenting inventory movement.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate workflow and address any issues that may arise.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move goods within the warehouse.
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school
- Experience in warehousing and/or logistic
- Strong logistical skills
- Attention to details and have problem solving skills
- Good communication skills
