5+ years of direct trade compliance experience in a multinational organization

Business degree in Supply Chain Logistics or related experience

Knowledge of global import/customs regulations, export control regulations, embargoes, and sanctions

Computer Literate – must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel

Work with the Shipping/Warehousing teams on the floor

Prioritize the Sales Order to ensure Shipping and Logistics are aligned for On-Time Deliveries

Experience in a supervisor or related role preferred

Requires basic math and counting skills

Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Performs transfers of products and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse

Processes requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for shipping according to established procedures

Schedules and assigns daily work assignments to a team and oversees the completion of tasks

Quality Management System– Understand and apply GN Corporations Inc. quality system requirements, including customer requirements and legal requirements.

Prepares and distributes reports for management and operational purposes

Oversee inventory management and ensure safe handling of all packages and warehouse needs

At least 2 years of proven experience in warehouse and logistics coordination and supervision,

Extensive knowledge of major couriers – FedEx, Purolator, UPS, etc. including how to operate their respective software packages,

Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) is a must,

EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:

Provides subordinates with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems. Resolves grievances or submits unsettled disputes to management.

Communicates customer shipping requirements to scheduling and material handlers.

Leadership Skills - ability to motivate people to perform at high levels

Previous supervisory experience in unionized environments preferred

Computer Skills: SAP, MS Office, and database programs

Warehouse knowledge is not a requirement but is considered a bonus

Communicate proactively with our operations team on how visits went, relay quickly any issues or interest in proceeding with an offer

At least one year of customer service experience (restaurant, real estate, sales)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, punctual

Travel to warehouse locations daily across the GTA to verify new properties, and confirm property details through our internal tools

Work closely with our sales team to identify top quality landlords and tenants

· College Diploma or certification in procurement is preferred

· Intermediate to advanced computer processing skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

· Experience with SAP is an Asset

Experience with lean inventory management methods would be an asset.

Create a waste management program.

2 or more years of experience in a similar leadership role.

Experience with ERP/MRP software preferred SAP.

Track and report departments KPIs and identify development opportunities.

Oversee and organize the dispatch and delivery of goods and ensure safe storage.

Draft reports, briefings and updates for Management and City Council

Demonstrated ability to build relationships, collaborate and communicate effectively with the public, event organizers, inter-departmental colleagues, senior management and councilors

University graduation in Recreation Administration, Physical Education, Business Administration. A related discipline may be considered

Excellent written and verbal skills are required

Exemplary creative problem solving skills to achieve success for both event organizers and City departments within existing guidelines

Experience chairing committees and leading discussions with demonstrated accomplishment

Proven proficiency with use of computers, computerized business management systems and use of RF scanners.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Occasional exposure to short bursts of noise over 85 db may occur; hearing protection is offered but not mandatory.

Assist with the processing of inbound shipments including sorting, quality checking, count verification, re-palletizing and load securement.

Proven proficiency with use of computers, computerized business management systems and use of RF scanners.

1 - 3 years of experience in a warehousing, logistics and transportation environment.

Forklift License (minimum 1-2 years of recent experience)

Experience in Canadian & international shipments via different mediums (transport, air, sea, etc.).

Minimum two years college diploma in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, or engineering

Proficient Key User for SAP Software Warehouse Management (WM) Module

Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles

Manage and maintains all internal logistics – chips, oil, material, tooling, etc.

Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees

Manage inventory as well as warehouse, transportation, and other logistics processes
