You will be working on straightening steel tubes

Must be able to use small hand tools

You will be assissting and cleaning the tubes

You will need to check that quality meets all product expectations according to specific work orders

Identify and communicate product inventory concerns to the Merchandising, Operations and Finance leads.

Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.

Minimum 1-year experience working in a produce related environment with the ability to identify produce quality issues.

Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment an asset.

Basic knowledge of Excel, Word and outlook.

Material handling equipment experience is an asset.

Possess CWB Level 1 Certification

Have 2+ years previous Quality Control experience

Experience in welding and ASME equipment and piping is an asse

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills

Experience with a Quality Management Suite, such as TIPQA is considered an asset

Ensure all work is performed according to the company Quality Management System (QMS) and that all parts meet customer specifications

CSA W178.2 Welding Inspector Level 2 (ASME B31.3) certification.

Strong proficiency with computer skills and capabilities,

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology Diploma, a combination of education and industry experience will be considered.

Promotes safety awareness including adhering to safety rules and requirements.

Verifies that the production processes and final products are in compliance with the Project requirements.

Performs other responsibilities as required.

5-10 years’ experience in heavy civil and/or infrastructure construction.

SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Educate and provide recommendations to the project team with regards to project quality management improvements

Communicate and coordinate with project management team to ensure all customer concerns regarding quality are addressed efficiently and effectively

Comply with customer's quality management system and ISO9001 Quality Management Systems, as required

Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management

Knowledge and experience with site safety procedures, including electrical safety standards

Possesses conversant knowledge of CWB requirements.

Ensures that all requirements of the Quality Control program are completed in a timely manner.

Welder and/or Fitter with minimum 5 years' experience. Journeyperson ticket an asset.

Must have knowledge of Quality Control procedures, record keeping and systems.

Possesses intermediate computer skills, specifically with MS Office.

Demonstrates efficient organizational skills and the ability to thrive well in a deadline-oriented environment.

General experience and knowledge in earthworks, geotechnical, formwork and concrete, super-structural steel, architectural, and/or infrastructure would be considered an asset.

Ensuring Code and client specification requirements are implemented and completed on site.

Electrical experience is an assist.

ISO 9001 experience is an assist

Competent knowledge of NDE processes as well as ASME and CSA Codes
