PTW is hiringa Quality Control (QC) Inspectorto join our team in Calgary! This is a full-time permanent position with lots of opportunities for overtime on night-shift. If you have experience working as a weldinginspector, or are interested in gaining experience, we want to hear from you!

A DAY IN THE LIFE....

• Complies with standards and procedures of the PTW Health and Safety manual and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• Verifies fabrication is completed as per CSA 47.1/W59-13.
• Executes the inspection and signoff of projects as per the Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
• Ensures that all requirements of the Quality Control program are completed in a timely manner.
• Coordinates, compiles and files all documents from the various projects.
• Conducts inspection of individual scope of work in progress and at completion.

Experience Requirements

• Familiar with NDE test procedures. MT/UT/RT/LP.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
• Welder and/or Fitter with minimum 5 years' experience. Journeyperson ticket an asset.
• Demonstrates initiative and is a proactive problem solver.
• Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks quickly.
• Ability to provide accuracy and detail in assimilation of project details and reports.
• Possesses intermediate computer skills, specifically with MS Office.
• Possesses conversant knowledge of CWB requirements.
• Must have knowledge of Quality Control procedures, record keeping and systems.
• Ability to work effectively with team members and yet be independent and self-reliant when completing tasks.
• Demonstrates efficient organizational skills and the ability to thrive well in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) certified Supervisor or CWB welding ticket an asset.
