Qc Electrical Inspector Jobs

As a QC Electrical Inspector, you will be working in a high mix/low volume Naval/Aerospace and Defense environment, conducting inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies, PCBs, wiring harnesses and related hardware.

Your Challenge

• Identify non-conforming parts, record and initiate the process to disposition such findings
• Interface with in-house DND QAR during interim/final inspection of equipment
• Inspecting electrical assembly, subassemblies, and components
• Ensure all work is performed according to the company Quality Management System (QMS) and that all parts meet customer specifications

Your Expertise

• Must have knowledge of calibration methods and standards.
• Business system experience (Oracle) is an asset.
• Proficient in the interpretation of complex engineering drawings, schematics, wire lists and process plans
• Experience with a Quality Management Suite, such as TIPQA is considered an asset
• Excellent communication skills, plus the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy environment with minimal supervision.
• Competent skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must have previous Quality Control/Assurance experience.
• Certification to the IPC J-STD-001/A-610 is considered an asset
• Superior skills in the use of electrical metrology instruments

Minimum Education Requirements

• Graduation from an appropriate post-secondary program.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
