IT Procurement Director (Software, Hardware, Services)

Demonstrated knowledge and experience using change/problem management software, tools and processes.

Builds and manages relationships with cross-functional team members and employees

Builds and manages relationships with vendors to ensure service quality.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in an IT/IS Service desk role with practical LAN/Desktop support experience (not call center based).

MCP, CCNA, A+ certification are considered assets.

Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) principles and experience using ticketing systems.

Experience with the Ivanti IT Service Management solution is considered an asset.

Assist with software license management.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or similar qualifications is considered an asset.

Provide exceptional technical support and troubleshooting assistance via phone, email, video conference, remote access, or in-person.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

Ad hoc duties or projects as assigned by the Manager IT.

Experience administering and assisting in the development of policies and training programs.

Expert Level skills with Microsoft Office Applications

Excellent interpersonal, communications, negotiating, project management, planning and organizational skills.

Develop and implement an inventory management system.

An undergraduate degree in an engineering or business-related subject (or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience).

7-10 years of procurement and sourcing experience in progressively senior roles (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Knowledge of procurement regulations and policies in the clean alternative fuel industry is considered a strong asset.

Strong knowledge of workflow tools such as BMC Remedy or other case management and ticketing systems. Experience with server administration.
