Define, cascade and oversee execution of Statement of Work/ Statement of Requirements for system, sub-systems and system components.

Must have demonstrated excellence in communication / presenting / influencing / salespersonship skills

Possess in-depth knowledge of MBSE methodology. Demonstrated ability to model and design system within an MBSE SW package preferred

Possess working knowledge of C/C+, Assembly language, Arduino code, Matlab, Simulink, Labview, Lab windows or other software design/test tools

Vehicle level bus communication protocol development experience (i.e. CAN, LIN)

Experience with VMware, Jira, Wiki, Salesforce, MS Endpoint manager, MS Defender for Cloud, Exchange Online, SharePoint and other M365 services.

Experienced in planning, designing, and maintaining data networks and servers, with knowledge of VPN, LAN, WAN technologies.

Performs Administrative Tasks and Manages Infrastructure Systems including M365 (Endpoint manager, Defender for Cloud etc.)

Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with strong attention to detail and documentation.

Is involved into functional safety management activities

Good technical leadership and innovation management

Analyze customer requirements and help the customer in establishing realistic and measurable requirements down to project level

Approve technical requirements and break down system requirements for all sub systems

Make sure that project and product meet customer requirements/expectations and proper documentation is issued

Experience with analysis tools & methods such as FMEA, FMEDA, and FTA

Experience managing technical specifications, documentation, and requirements

3+ years experience designing, developing and/or testing energy storage or power electronics systems

Experience with Li-ion batteries and chemistry is an asset

Experience in the marine industry or marine product development is an asset

Experience working in a multi-disciplinary engineering team

Strong decision making, critical thinking, and analysis skills

Defining network topologies, system block diagrams and communications solutions to meet the customer requirements.

Authoring and reviewing system functional requirements and system interface documentation.

Ensuring complete implementation and functional verification of all system requirements

At least three years of experience in vehicle systems engineering

Experience with transit vehicle passenger information and communication systems

Experience with railway vehicle systems integration and application

Experience synthesizing requirement allocation from system budgets, customer feedback, and measured data

Analyze high level customer requirements and application use cases to derive key system requirements

Experience in LiDAR system design preferred but related experience in RADAR or ultrasound will also be considered

Experience in modeling and characterizing various detector technologies (APD, SiPM, CCD, EMCCD, and CMOS image sensors, iToF, dToF)

Hands-on experience with optical systems and instruments (sources, detectors, electronics)

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Focusing strongly on client relationships, including organizational, project management, and problem solving sills

Develop and maintain material and parts usage lists and ensure all parts and materials conform to system requirements

Review and approve test plans, procedures and reports to ensure all deliverables conform to customer requirements

Conduct meetings with internal and external clients to gather and analyze requirements

Provide training and knowledge transfers

6+ years collective experience in designing and maintaining the following:

Design and implement physical and virtual servers, storage, and network infrastructure (on-premise and cloud)

Maintain security compliance to protect client data and intellectual property

Requirements Management tools such as DOORS

Working with both internal and external customers to understand their needs and requirements;

Transforming high-level requirements into lower-level feature requirements;

Performing technical engineering tasks, such as operational analyses and trade-off studies, to define system design and subsystem requirement details;

Developing and generating deliverable documents such as engineering plans, requirements specifications, interface control documents, and operational concepts;

Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer interaction skills;
