Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

Proficient in using supply chain management software and tools.

Manage third-party suppliers to ensure delivery on recruitment requirements and identify new suppliers to enhance sourcing and talent pipelines.

Proven ability to manage multiple and competing stakeholder requirements.

Build a strong talent pipeline for current and future expatriate staffing requirements.

Proven experience in developing and executing complex global sourcing strategies using the latest methodologies and technologies.

Deep knowledge of contemporary talent sourcing principles and a track record of utilizing talent sourcing tools and channels effectively.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build credibility and trust with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred 2-4 years experience in contract management and strategic sourcing (executing or leading)

Trained skills in third-party governance, stakeholder management, data interpretation and communication

Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills

Responsible for the entire end-to-end renewal management of technology contracts with oversight from Strategic Sourcing Manager(s)

Competency in operating reporting and document management

A designation or enrollment in a Contract Management or Supply Chain Management program (such as IACCM, SCMA, CSCMP, ISM, APICS)

Develop and execute sourcing strategies to create value for the company, through improved cost effectiveness and risk management.

Commit to continuous, collaborative Supply Chain Management and organization improvement while continually seeking learning opportunities.

Ensure all sourcing activities comply with current regulatory, legal and Sherritt policy requirements.

Professional designation – SCMP or equivalent years of experience in lieu of

8+ years Strategic Sourcing experience

Demonstrated knowledge of external market opportunities and indicators to support category spend/strategies

Contract Management: Evaluate, negotiate, and draft a variety of contracts covering a range of transactions

Understanding of contract and supplier performance management (statement of work, licensing, maintenance, and service level agreements)

Understanding of project management and agile development methods would be an asset

University or post-secondary degree or equivalent practical experience is required

Experience with professional services, Corporate Goods and Services, would be considered an asset
