Ability to multi-task and have good organizational and time management skills

Experience in providing strategic advice and guidance to senior management on sensitive issues

Post-secondary education in Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent with a minimum of five years of related experience

Superior writing skills; thorough knowledge of Canadian Press (CP) style

Manage the communications activities of a concentrated portfolio of select OHT programs and strategic initiatives

Provide support for the following: Learning Management Systems (LMS), Streaming clients, VPN connections and Remote desktop connections (RDP)

Maintain the knowledge base in the service desk management system.

Perform daily system monitoring of the service desk management system.

Assist customers with their information/product requirements

Through effective questioning and listening techniques, identify and qualify customer requirements

Experience with payroll legislative requirements;

Ensures compliance with Canada Revenue Agency’s statutory withholding requirements;

As backup to the payroll supervisor, reconciles payroll and benefit related accounts and responds to auditor queries;

Provides support and assistance to the Manager, Payroll and provides backfill in the Manager’s absence;

Provides primary support to the Manager, Payroll for the development and continuous improvement of processes ;

Certification as a Payroll Compliance Professional or Payroll Leadership Professional, (National Payroll Institute);

Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data management techniques to continuously improve data entry skills and knowledge.

High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant coursework or certifications in data management or a related field will be advantageous.

Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Familiarity with data management systems and databases is a plus.
