Management of the execution of the strategic plan

Manage the annual strategic and operational planning processes

Provide guidance and strategic direction to ensure alignment of initiatives to Horizon's key priority areas

Support programs on the development of operational plans that align to the organization's strategic goals

Guide planning and identification of projects and initiatives to achieve strategic priorities

Ensure strategic priorities are aligned to performance metrics and regularly reported as part of the Balanced Scorecard

Demonstrated experience with Document Management system and/or Customer Relationship Management System (CRM)

Experience conducting requirements gathering and developing documentation

Demonstrated experience with business case development, cost-benefit analysis and feasibility studies in a complex project environment

10+ years experience in a business analyst capacity, with demonstrated work outlined clearly

Demonstrated experience with developing business strategies, business process re-engineering

Demonstrated Experience with GUI, user interface design and mock ups. (e.g. Balsamiq)

Strong report writing, research, analytical and project management skills to meet program objectives and work within tight deadlines.

Successful completion of a University Degree in Environmental Health or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.

Manages the implementation of process improvements, and special projects for the Branch/Division.

Knowledge of the Region’s population, geography, health status and health needs. 

Good communication skills to respond to enquiries and/or complaints with the public, businesses, media, etc.  

Develops policies, guidelines, procedures and protocols relevant to defined areas of responsibility, and ensures they are adhered to by staff.

Experience working with seniors and/or individuals with disabilities.

Offering companionship and emotional support.

Providing assistance with personal care and medications.

Conducting light meal preparation and homemaking services.

Assisting with medical escort services

Willingness to work both short and long shifts.

Minimum 5 years management/progressive leadership experience preferably in the Community sector and unionized environment.

Knowledge in program development, evaluation, and financial management.

M.S.W. or Post-Graduate degree in a related area and/or combination of relevant education and experience

Strong computer proficiency and familiarity with client data management systems.

Personal knowledge and lived/living experience of issues that affect communities and populations served by WoodGreen is a strong asset

Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the community sector, mental health, addictions, geriatrics, caregiver needs and concerns, and related issues.

Minimum 5 years management/progressive leadership experience preferably in the Community sector and unionized environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service oriented and understanding of the needs of seniors.

Knowledge of Ukrainian Culture and Language is a definite asset.
