Senior Manager Facilities Operations Jobs in Ontario

Oversee planning, implementation, and management of our website projects, ensuring a user-friendly and glitch-free customer experience.

At least 5-8 years of experience in an operations management role.

Handle financial management tasks including payments to suppliers, tax matters, and account supervision.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Shopify, Etsy) and financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks).

Oversee onboarding of new partners and retailers, manage purchase orders and invoices, and maintain strong relationships with associates.

At least two years’ experience in building management, ideally in an educational setting

Experience in building management practices especially in an educational setting

Knowledge of mechanical and building maintenance systems

Knowledge of construction trades, instrumentation, building envelope, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems, and ability to read architectural and engineering drawings

Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act as it relates to construction and the use of equipment and tools

Basic knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and environmental standards

Excellent organizing, prioritizing, multi-tasking, product management and problem-solving skills with a strong sense of urgency.

A hands-on management approach that encourages change and creative problem solving.

Regularly communicate with the facility management on issues that arise and be able to react as required.

Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

Manages warehouse staff by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.

Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Minimum of 3-5 years experience working as a Facilities Operator Specialist

Maintains furniture systems and general repairs at locations in the GTA.

Maintain relationships with Business Unit Staff/clients, vendors and service providers.

Responsible for systems furniture build outs, reconfiguration and dismantle of workstations for the BAU and Projects teams

Strong decision-making capabilities, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Plan, direct, evaluate, monitor, and assist each Company Manager to achieve operating goals

Manage and drive key performance indicators that optimize profitability while achieving growth goals

Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., Business)

5 years proven experience in a related role

Exceptional communication and coaching abilities that inspire and engage others

Prepare reports and/or documents in a timely manner as needed or requested by management or regulatory bodies.

Plan all facility work, control schedules, manage contracts, develop work standards, and evaluate both employees and external contractors.

Ensure the smooth running of basic facility operations, checking that they are up to institutional standards and regulatory requirement.

Manage the campus facilities budget.

Manage and delegate administrative services such as cleaning, maintenance, safety inspections, security, and weather-related matters.

Manage campus room bookings. Supports the Registrar by ensuring classroom and ensures room set up.
