As An Account Manager, You Will Be Responsible For

Upstream Chemicals/Oil & Gas/Operating/Operations/Process/Fluid Separation/Asset Integrity experience

Education in Chemical Technology or Petroleum Technology

1-5 years in Oil & Gas sales experience

3 years of Chemical experience

Previous experience in Project Engineering, Design, and Execution.

Strong technical experience in Refining and petrochemical industries.

Detail engineering and design experience.

Experience in facility scope basis development.

5+ years of direct sales experience within the chemical distribution sector

Knowledge of Industrial chemicals and their applications

Fluent Bilingual Communication skills – both written and spoken in French and English

Experience using an ERP system considered an asset

Willingness to work in office and travel to visit clients within the region

Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Detail-oriented and demonstrated interpersonal, time management and organizational skills

Post-secondary education in Chemical Technology or Engineering is preferred

Experience in Oil and Gas Production Chemicals is considered an asset

Previous Chemical Sales experience is considered an asset

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to prepare technical reports

Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and negotiation skills

Have a Proven sport management and administrative experience

Manage relevant grant / program fund

Have adequate experience in Sport Karate as either a competitor and or coach

Lead the carbon lifecycle evaluation process of projects from crude distillation all the way to polymerization.

Identify carbon footprint reduction opportunities between refining and chemicals.

The education. You have post-secondary education in human services, employment counseling, non-profit sector management, or a related discipline.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, crisis management, conflict resolution, and negotiating skills

Apply the principles of program and project management generally used in the private sector to manage an entrepreneurial non-profit operation.

Regional responsibility for Property Management and facility issues

Flexibility to work after hours to attend community events, board meetings, or property management issues.

Financial Management and Property Management

Managerial experience with other not-for-profit organizations, government or education sector

Skilled in project management with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, time management and attention to deadlines and deliverables

Knowledge of the Province of Nova Scotia, particularly the education and government sectors

Experience working with educational and government administration and policy makers is an asset

Working experience and knowledge of Indigenous communities in Atlantic Canada, in particular Nova Scotia, is an asset

Develop a proactive enterprise-wide chemicals management vision and strategy

Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to gather insights, influence industry standards, and move industry towards better chemicals management

Work with internal teams to guide chemicals management improvements across our supply chain

Anticipate and manage chemicals related issues to avoid fines, loss of revenue, and reputational damage

15+ years of experience applying chemistry concepts in consumer product companies or related industries
