In-depth knowledge of working with complex data in excel tables.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a distributed and cross-functional team spanning several university units.

Research IT tools (e.g., scientific software, qualitative research software)

Electrical or Computer engineering degree, diploma, relevant education or controls/security systems (access control, CCTV and intrusion detection) TQ considered an asset

Work experience in the construction and/or electrical industry

Experience in an administrative role

High proficiency in MS Office. Experience with AutoCAD, Accubid, MS Project, are an asset

Identify errors and gaps in schedules and escalate to the responsible manager or supervisor.

Liaise with the Account Managers on missed coverage, overtime, payroll corrections, and compliance alerts on a weekly basis

Strong leadership, organization, and facilitation skills

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Proficiency in computer usage. Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite and WinTeam

Strategically schedule employees for shifts within a portfolio of sites, minimizing overtime

Undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience

A minimum of 5 years’ experience and demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of institutional facility operations and security functions

Thorough knowledge of and experience in the application of security best practices and facilities operations

Working knowledge of current project software Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

Monitors and completes daily requests for building access and video footage

Coordinates all documentation, including all correspondence from vendors, suppliers, and internal customer groups

Support the team in delivering all security management functions related to Initial Works.

Prepare and present regular updates to management and the Executive team on the project’s progress.

High level of proficiency with methodology and project management tools.

Conflict resolution, planning and resources management.

You will be responsible for developing security-related documents and Submissions for the client’s Safety Certification Committee.

Train Trainer and Assessor certification will be an asset.

Demonstrated knowledge of security operations, crisis management and logistics planning.

Assisting with coordinating operations as part of an Incident Management Team during escalated situations, evacuations and security operations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of working in small, close teams.

Supporting the security desk, handling security advice and providing assistance to travellers, expatriates and corporate security/risk managers.

Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of political and security issues in the Americas region.

Experience of operating in an international context (postings, exchanges or employment within a foreign multinational company).
