It Sage 300 Technical Support Jobs

Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) principles and experience using ticketing systems.

Experience with the Ivanti IT Service Management solution is considered an asset.

Assist with software license management.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or similar qualifications is considered an asset.

Provide exceptional technical support and troubleshooting assistance via phone, email, video conference, remote access, or in-person.

Monitor and respond to train operational requirements as required (24/7)

Trade Certification in either, Electrician – Construction and Maintenance 309A, or Industrial 442A

3-5 years supervisory experience preferably in a unionized environment

Minimum 5 years of recent management experience in a locomotive environment

Work with Senior Management to ensure successful operations of department.

Works collaboratively with Human Resources on employee and labour relations matter including investigations, discipline, attendance, conduct and performance management.

Manage internal and external locomotive overhauls including overseeing work processes.

Manage direct supervisors and their direct reports.

Support supervisors with training requirements and instruction for unionized staff

Continuously improve technical knowledge and skills through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Configure, install, and manage corporate devices, including workstations, laptops, printers, phones, handheld terminals, and tablets.

Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical support role.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Patience and empathy when dealing with customers, especially those with limited technical knowledge.

Certificate of Qualification as Electrician (Construction 309A or Industrial 442A) or within final year of apprenticeship in the same identified trade

Administer Windows servers both on premise and in the cloud (Azure)

Responding to approximately 15-20 tickets per week.

Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.

Make recommendations on improving processes and technical tools used.
