Reporting to the Manager, Clinical Practice & Professional Development, this position is responsible for

Monitor employees and subcontractors on site for compliance to safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and management system elements

Organizational and planning skills with ability to delegate or escalate to management when required

Proactively identify and prevent hazardous situations and communicate situations to department Management

Provide coaching and support on health and safety requirements to all employee and department Managers

Develop, maintain, and continually improve HSE programs and processes and support the management system

Provide required monthly safety performance reports to Management, identify trends, recommend initiatives to reduce incidents and improve prevention initiatives

Supports management in special projects and initiatives as required.

Conducts investigations of incidents/collisions, informs management of actions taken, and makes recommendations related to any serious or major collision/incident.

Minimum three (3) years experience with the development, implementation, and delivery of driver training.

Must be able to obtain Ministry of Transportation Signing Authority and Airbrake Instructor certifications within 6 months of hire.

Knowledge of applicable Legislation, Acts and Standards.
