Retail Merchandising Coordinator Jobs

·Post-Secondary education or equivalent working experience

·Evaluate user experience, navigation, visual appeal, and multimedia integration of website and identify opportunities for differentiation.

Use your knowledge in your field to feed into financial sales planning cycles;

Use your knowledge to lead the buyers through the buys adhering and feeding into the global product strategy;

Experience in product and working with creatives.

Liaising with category management and marketing teams for tier one marketing flyer events.

Supporting category management, business analytics, and the promotions team in maintaining/approving promotions.

Creating and coordinating promotional events and liaises with category management to ensure promotional event transmissions are accurate and concise.

Supporting all data extraction, management, and integration initiatives.

Assisting with coaching new hires in Category Management/Promotions on various internal systems

Liaising with supply chain, inventory, category management and promotions teams on respective changes.

Review merchandising plans to determine cosmetic and beauty order requirements.

3+ years relevant industry experience

Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Strong verbal and written skills

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively

Assist management/Team with preparation of hanging and tagging of product to be prepped for display on sales floor.

Drives sales and manages execution of merchandise placement.

Attain proficiency with the point-of-sale system by acquiring system utilization skills. Ensure integrity is maintained through attention to policy and procedure.

Knowledge of customer service principles and processes.

Previous experience in retail operations, store management, or a similar role.

Assist in the onboarding and training of new store employees, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Familiarity with inventory management systems and retail point-of-sale (POS) software is a plus.

Collaborate with store managers to ensure compliance with company standards and guidelines.

Submit retail expense reports and coding invoices. Liaison with accounting and finance.

Coordinate with the RPM to manage inventory levels, ensuring stock availability at all times.

Will take necessary management and technical training as required.

Knowledge of desktop PCs and Windows-based operating systems.

· Minimum 2 years experience in a similar or related role; preferably in a fast-paced, consumer-facing environment.
