The successful candidate must have the following education, experience and/or demonstrated skills:

Lead and manage summer and articling student events, where required

Establish and manage vendor relationships, acting as point of contact

Manage calendar invites, RSVP reminders, and ensure the overall quality and accuracy of event invitation lists

Support the Manager, Events with the development and execution of larger Firm Events, retreats, and annual Firm Partners’ Meetings

Demonstrated knowledge of the financial services industry and rules regarding estates, trusts, RESPs, RRSPs/RRIFs, TFSAs, non-registered investments and applicable taxrelated issues

You will work with a Advisors, as well as a larger Regional team of Administrators.

You will maintain a follow-up system for inquiries and issues, ensuring expeditious resolution based on MD specified service standards.

You will ensure that monthly compliance-related tasks, such as compliance reporting logs and following up on non-compliant paperwork, are completed efficiently.

You will liaise with Accountants and third parties to provide tax documents or statements as requested.

You will perform general office duties, including reception coverage, when required.

Provide on-site event management, maintain logistical control of events, and oversee the work of vendors to ensure event requirements are met

Solid knowledge of accessibility requirements for events

Develop and manage event budget, schedule and volunteer support (if needed) in collaboration with internal partners

Five years of experience in event planning or management.

Management of all booth properties and convention assets.

Manage large event budgets efficiently and effectively.

Manage suppliers and partners for space arrangement, marketing collateral, hotels, equipment rental, and exhibit set-up and dismantling.

Supervision of third-party contractors for a positive customer experience.

Proven experience in managing large-scale trade shows or exhibitions.

4-6 years current, related experience within a marketing or product management environment;

Expert knowledge of principles, concepts, practices and techniques in the areas of product management;

Develops and communicates visual set-up techniques to enhance product, inventory levels, promotional strategies that support the brand(s) and customer shopping experience.

Deliver brand fashion ability through the creation and execution of store visual merchandise presentation.

Implement Brand(s) visual standards, and seasonal merchandising plans to achieve a consistency of visual display.

Establishes partnerships with Stakeholders to ensure visual presentation standards and direction are maintained for brand consistency.
