Daily reconciliation of general ledger balances to the sub-ledger

Identify and clear accounting exceptions and mismatched items

3+ years of reconciliation experience

The identification of ineffective suspense account reconciliations

Development of remediation measures to address suspense account gaps

Design of effective suspense account reconciliations including documented procedures

Development of ongoing oversight monitoring controls

Retail Banking background is Nice to have

At least 12 months experience in client service or fraud related environment

Ability to handle with confidence a high workload environment, while prioritizing and multitasking with a commitment to delivering superior client experience

Proven interpersonal communication and problem resolution skills

Lifeboat and rescue boat operating skills, other than fast rescue boats;

Good knowledge of diesel mechanics and hydraulic systems;

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience with Operations functions performed at a financial institution

Sound knowledge of General Ledger reconciliation and attestation processes

Strong oral and written communication skills required

Process mapping and documentation experience

Opportunities to take on progressively greater accountabilities

• Strong knowledge on General Ledger, Sub ledger, trade reconciliation

• Experience required with SQL

• Experience with drools would be a plus

Hands on experience in Recon design and build incl. TLM rules config, core controls, data ingestion and transformation.

Hands on experience in Unix and SQL
