Support of day-to-day activities of research staff and support in the assignment of responsibilities

Assisting the manager with budget forecasting, monitoring budgets, annual progress reports and preparing financial reports.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Supporting onboarding and training of research staff (including research coordinators, research methods specialists, research analysts and research trainees).

Supporting the monitoring of key staff and research project performance indicators, and quality and safety initiatives.

Experience supporting a highly integrated, dynamic team.

Knowledge of the Newfoundland and Labrador arts sector.

Knowledge of public arts funding procedures.

Organizational skills and full attention to detail.

Reports to:Manager, Emergency Management Program

The successful candidate will contribute their skills and knowledge to the following areas:

·Working collaboratively with regional SJA offices in the development and implementation of the Emergency Management Program.

·Familiarity with Emergency Management, Planning, and/or Response is an asset.

·Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

Works with MC staff to manage the distribution and inventory of printed and electronic program materials, as needed.

Works with MC staff and Medical Advisory Council to develop content for educational and informational materials

Program development and promotion experience preferably in healthcare

Basic knowledge of program evaluation methodology, logic model design, descriptive statistics and scientific writing.

Beginner knowledge of creating and maintaining databases

Excellent record-keeping, organizational and time management skills, including the ability to set priorities and balance competing deadlines and pressures.

Highly proficient with cloud-based collaboration tools, learning management systems, CRM databases, and Microsoft Suite. Experience with WordPress websites is an asset.

The Program Officer will have the following skills and qualifications:

Coordinate engagement meetings and communications with Indigenous and allied investors, asset managers, and companies on Indigenous reconciliation and responsible investment issues.

Maintain an up-to-date clearinghouse of educational resources on Indigenous reconciliation and responsible investment for internal use, and network partners and participants.

Excellent written and oral communications skills

Experience in Inspection data management systems, risk-based inspection, ASME pressure piping and equipment Industry standards would be considered an asset

Manage regulatory requirements through effective communication and documentation related to in-service equipment, pipeline inspection, and repairs

Support with the implementation of pressure equipment and/or pipeline integrity management systems and processes

Provide technical advice on pressure equipment, storage tank, and pipeline inspection, mitigation, and monitoring requirements

Provide technical support to site operating and maintenance personnel related to pressure equipment and pipeline integrity maintenance requirements

Minimum 3+ years of experience in a related role, candidates with a higher level of experience are also welcomed to apply

Experience working for a management consulting firm would be considered an asset

Collaborate with Technology/Product Management and Quality Analytics team to manage and establish product integrity management systems metrics and reporting platforms.

Manage detailed data gathering and complex analyses to extract insights and make recommendations to the Product Integrity/Global Quality leadership team.

Manage and facilitate creation of corrective and preventative action plans to implement improvements to drive operational excellence with Product Integrity/Global Quality

Ability to address tactical business problems with strategic solutions, and critical thinking skills

Prior people leadership experience is an asset
