We have two positions, for our Edmonton and Calgary facilities.

· Work with Quality Assurance on preparation and production of samples, testing, nutritional analysis, shelf life studies;

· Maintain R&D areas and fulfill other related duties

· Lead continuous improvement projects

· Minimum of 3 years in product development or related field

WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER

Assist with the development and lead the implementation of formal Product Development framework, reporting, capacity planning, resource management and budget development.

Must have experience tracking inventory through LIMS or ERP systems (SAP and SalesForce experience is an asset)

Must have experience using QMS: specifically Change Controls, CAPAs, DMS (SalesForce is an asset)

Experience, Qualifications, and Educational Requirements:

Must possess strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

3 to 5 years of product development or research and development experience.

Knowledge of food product manufacturing, packaging, storage, and distribution.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Lead plant trials, develop manufacturing procedures, monitor initial production and finalize product implementation.

Experience is an asset, but early career professionals and more recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.

MSc or PhD is an asset and may be considered in lieu of recent work experience

Ability to prioritize, manage your time, and get things done

Experience working with hydrogels and other sustainable materials to optimize product performance and reduce environmental impact is an asset.

Experience with biochemistry workflows and principles is an asset.

Experience with modern characterization methods like NMR, MS, UV-Vis etc. is an asset.

Professional business development and/or sales experience, preferably in an international context. Strong and effective networking skills, committed to building long-term relationships.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including effective presentation skills. Superior business writing skills including the ability to draft non-routine correspondence.

Performs other related duties as required.

Ability to meet timelines and objectives and demonstrates persistence to overcome obstacles.

Proficiency using Microsoft office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Provide technical and cost estimate requirements for integrating the AI tool into our web application

2+ years of experience in AI/ML development and implementation (must have experience)

Experience and expertise in LangChain, Pinecone, HuggingFace, OpenAI solutions (must have experience)

Expertise in Python (must have experience)

3-5 years of experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, biological industry, or closely related

Managed elements of new product commercialization launch

Experience getting first-hand customer information and using it for improvements (e.g. KOLs, market research, VOC)

· Three (3) to five (5) years experience in dairy or food industry

· Knowledge of dairy products and their functionality

· Strong written and interpersonal/communication skills with internal and external sources for technical information and ingredient assistance
