Our platform operates as an academic publisher, sourcing invaluable local data and insights from community organizations, such as NGOs, and connecting them with researchers and students alike.

Job Summary: We are looking for a Part-Time Contract AI Data Science Consultant to provide consultation on creating a development plan and on implementing an AI tool in our web application. The primary function of this role is to provide a picture of the best AI tool for our goals, its compatibility with our web application, and its technical and cost estimate requirements for integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compatibility of the AI tool with our web application
• Develop AI applications using LangChain, Pinecone, HuggingFace, OpenAI API
• Assess the best AI tool for our goals and recommend the most suitable one for implementation
• Provide technical and cost estimate requirements for integrating the AI tool into our web application

Great assets if you have experience in:

• Tuning the AI model to write in a particular format and provide suggestions based on the analysis of sample texts
• Implementing the AI tool as search engines and recommendation systems

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in AI/ML development and implementation (must have experience)
• Expertise in Python (must have experience)
• Understanding of Nodejs (backend), GraphQL (for modeling and creating the APIs), Nextjs (frontend), MySQL (database), and TypeScript
• Experience and expertise in LangChain, Pinecone, HuggingFace, OpenAI solutions (must have experience)
• Experience and expertise in persistent vector-based database and management(must have experience)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

For students, this position can be a combination of internship and part-time work. Hourly payment can range from $19 to $35 per hour based on the skills and experience.
