Gather the required materials and bring to the production area for startup (film, trays, lids, carts, paperwork, etc.)

Transport film, pallets of trays and lids from the warehouse to the production line

Open boxes of lids using appropriate procedures and placing them at the production line

Assist in setting up the production line when needed at changeover

Transporting required materials from blancher exit

Monitoring hopper levels (i.e., ricotta, sauce)

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).

Minimum of 1-3 years experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment.

Knowledge of food handling, preparation, cooking and service.

Health Care Assistant Certification required.

Communicates with Nursing Units regarding patient transport, as required.

Transports medical apparatus and/or equipment

Assists with lifting and transferring patients to and from beds, stretchers, wheelchairs and/or other devices, as instructed.

Ensures patient comfort and readiness for transport

Porters’ patients requiring assistance on discharge from nursing unit or treatment area to hospital exit.

Transports deceased patients to morgue

Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Daily tasks and responsibilities may include:

Kroll pharmacy software experience is preferred.

Prepares third party insurance claims, processes invoices and makes accounting entries using computerized system.

Orders, receives, tags and stocks prescription drugs and supplies. Follows product storage procedures and standards.

Cleans department by sweeping, mopping, spraying, wiping and dusting. Empties trash, operates trash compactor and cardboard bailer.

Assists in transferring patients to and from beds, stretchers and wheelchairs.

Transports blood gases and laboratory samples as required; provides messenger service within the Hospital as required (i.e. charts, x-rays, lab specimens).

Transports beds, equipment and material as required.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Ability to deal with others effectively.

Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organization values;
