3+ years of experience working in the data domain, with a focus on data governance, data management, or related roles.

Certifications in data governance (e.g., DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Data Governance and Stewardship) are highly desirable.

Promote data governance established roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities; Ensure continued engagement and activations of the data governance council and committee.

To lead and coordinate with senior and top management such as IT business and Operations heads regarding Data Governance.

Extensive knowledge of data governance concepts, frameworks, industry best practices, tools and technologies that have been acquired through previous working experience

Existing knowledge base with data privacy regulations (e.g., PIPEDA, GDPR, Law 25 ) and data security practices.

1) 2+ years of experience with Data Management and Data Governance concepts along with metadata fundamentals

3)10+ years of experience in gathering business requirements, then translating them to technical requirements and user stories

2) Other metadata management tools such as Talend, IBM IGC, Alation, Collibra, etc.

1) Experience in large-scale and complex governance solutions

6+ years relevant experience in Data, Risk management or related field

Excellent skills in preparing professional presentation materials (e.g. Powerpoint) for senior management.

Drives consistency in DQ Scorecards in conjunction with Technology based on these requirements, implementation and ongoing maintenance

General knowledge of Risk data flows systems and technology, ability to challenge and support global Risk, CDO and Technology team

Experience in a data governance program in the financial services industry is preferred.
