Overview A Payroll Systems Analyst is responsible for the maintenance and development of payroll systems and processes. They are responsible for ensuring that payroll systems are up to date, accurate, and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. They also work with other departments to ensure that payroll data is properly integrated into other systems. Detailed Job Description A Payroll Systems Analyst is responsible for the maintenance and development of payroll systems and processes. This includes ensuring that payroll systems are up to date, accurate, and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. They also work with other departments to ensure that payroll data is properly integrated into other systems. The Payroll Systems Analyst is responsible for troubleshooting any issues that arise with the payroll system and providing support to users. They also work with the payroll department to ensure that payroll processes are efficient and effective. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of payroll systems and processes
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• At least two years of experience in payroll systems and processes
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of payroll systems and processes
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Knowledge of payroll software and systems
• Knowledge of payroll accounting principles
Job Experience
• At least two years of experience in payroll systems and processes
• Experience working with payroll software and systems
• Experience troubleshooting payroll system issues
• Experience working with other departments to ensure payroll data is properly integrated into other systems
Job Responsibilities
• Maintain and develop payroll systems and processes
• Ensure that payroll systems are up to date, accurate, and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise with the payroll system
• Provide support to users
• Work with the payroll department to ensure that payroll processes are efficient and effective
• Work with other departments to ensure that payroll data is properly integrated into other systems
• Monitor payroll system performance and make recommendations for improvements
