Payroll And Accounting Specialist Jobs in Ontario

Relevant education in Finance, Accounting, Business Admin or equivalent

Manage the complete payroll cycle, including the bi-weekly processing of payroll for all employees, both hourly and salaried.

Collaborate closely with the HR department to ensure accurate benefits and payroll tax codes.

Minimum 1-3 years of full cycle payroll processing experience required

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Oversee payroll operations for two Canadian entities, ensuring the accurate processing of payroll on a monthly basis.

Post-secondary education in Accounting/Payroll or related field, PCP designation would be considered an asset

3+ years experience in payroll

Experience in various payroll software such as ADP Workforce and Ceridian

Strong working knowledge of payroll legislation, processes and procedures

· Strong time-management skills demonstrated through successfully undertaking multiple priorities at one time

· Advance computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences

Tillsonburg, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

· Accounts Receivable activities including processing daily invoices/credits, applying cash receipts, and collecting past due balances

· Maintaining accounts receivable files and records

Backup Finance Manager and execute other responsibilities, as required.

Excellent organizational and records management skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Prepare various management reports and analysis.

1-2 years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting with knowledge of how payroll functions

Implement policies and drive process improvement with evolving requirements of the business

Background in Accounting and/or Bookkeeping are assets with experience working with QuickBooks Online.
