Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines related to pharmaceutical labeling, including FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines.

Familiarity with labeling software and tools, such as Labeling Management Systems (LMS), Adobe Illustrator, or similar applications.

Manage labeling artwork design, proofreading, and finalization processes to ensure error-free and high-quality labels.

Develop and implement labeling strategies, policies, and procedures to meet regulatory requirements and project timelines.

3-5 years experience in an industrial setting and maintenance management considered an asset

Strong computer skills. Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge. Technical and problem-solving skills.

Supervise production workforce in Packaging Maintenance through team of managers

Assure compliance with labour contracts. Manage the relationship with the union where appropriate including discipline & grievances where necessary or applicable.

Coach salaried employees on their roles and responsibilities as well as developing employees through the normal performance evaluation process and cycle.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of the packaging process and maintenance related processes

2 – 5+ years of work experience in the packaging industry, preferably in an account management or inside sales role.

Manages and directs the Engineering Department, responsible for Process Engineering, Project Management, Operations support as well as Validation activities.

Defines, documents and implements engineering standards for drawings, specifications, documentation control, software, manuals, test procedures, revision control, configuration management, etc.

Participates in setting delivery dates that align with established project schedules and master production planning.

Participates in the development and execution of short- and long-term business growth plans for all sites.

Assists in the development of and adherence to departmental capital and operating budgets.

Assists in the development of production capacity plans to support current and future business needs.

· Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory or management type role

· Report out to container management team on any packaging/packaging material issues

· Automotive packaging experience and knowledge of CAD is an asset

· Manage a team of corporate packaging engineers, located at various facilities

· College diploma in packaging program with a minimum of five (5) years related experience

· Computer literacy along with strong organizational and communication skills is required

Ensures packaging operation meets or exceeds regulatory requirements (i.e. cGMP, Health & Safety, Environmental), including documentation, processes, equipment and housekeeping.

Demonstrated strength in achieving targets, managing deadlines and implementing change. Ability to deal with ambiguity and manage through difficult situations.

· Familiarity with OEE concepts, previous experience in SAP and TrackWise preferred.

Tracks departmental KPI’s including safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, waste, downtime, labor costs, variances and ensure targets are met or exceeded.

Assists Technical Services in the justification of acquisition of new technology and/or equipment, also assists in the preparation of capital budgets.

· Assesses and maintains proper staffing levels and is responsible for hiring, training and development of team.
