Senior Manager - Facilities And Operations

Minimum 15 years related/progressive facilities maintenance and operations management experience ideally in a commercial real estate setting with multi-site responsibility
Project management experience; demonstrated ability to effectively manage from design to hand over;
Provides coaching and mentoring for senior operational management staff at the portfolio level to improve operational effectiveness.
Develops site goals/objectives in collaboration with senior staff; guides staff in development/management analysis of operational plans and effective communications;
Directs/manages implementation of quality control and risk reduction programs (i.e., policies, procedures, ISO 9001, etc.);
Knowledge/understanding of Occupational Health & Safety Act; building/fire/other codes and applicable standards/regulations pertaining to facilities maintenance and operations;
Supervisor, Facilities Management Services

Maintain Computerized Maintenance Management System including preventative maintenance schedules/plans, updated site-specific task cards, review/adjust system maintenance schedules (as required), etc.;
Post-secondary diploma/certification in Building Environmental Systems, Engineering Technology, or Trades qualification;
Proven ability to effectively interact with clients, tenants, management and staff

Carries out responsibilities in accordance with health and safety requirements. Immediately reports unsafe situations by notifying supervisor or other appropriate personnel.
Demonstrated ability to take action in a crisis management environment
Demonstrated working knowledge of building systems, operations and maintenance practices in a complex, multi-site health care environment
