Junior Lighting Designer Jobs

Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills

Provide necessary support to senior staff and project managers; by building presentations, typesetting, layout of drawings

Knowledge of Entro protocols and procedures are followed on all projects (templates, timesheets, meetings, etc)

Previous experience in experiential graphic design, architecture, or industrial design firm setting

Knowledge of signage and wayfinding production techniques is an asset

Computer literacy and good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and Microsoft Office

Knowledge or interest in HTML and CSS is a bonus.

You’ll understand the needs of a client and translate that into a beautiful website.

Become an expert in using our custom WordPress builder to efficiently build sites.

Contribute to the growth of our team by participating in critiques and feedback sessions.

Participate in company-wide product and process ideation.

Gain an understanding of design in the real estate industry.

- Updating the project manager and other concerned staff with all the upcoming events timelines.

- Assisting other administrative staff with overflow work, including word processing, data entry and research as needed.

- Having a valuable product knowledge to guide customers while they are browsing through the store.

Collaborate with the design team to create digital art and graphics for various projects

- Illustrate concepts and ideas using both traditional and digital techniques

- Contribute to motion graphics projects, including video editing and special effects

3 years + of experience as an Assistant Designer or related experience ;

3D knowledge is an asset.

Proven experience in the design of traffic signals and illumination

Knowledge of AGi32 and other lighting calculation programs

Knowledge of various municipal and MTO lighting and traffic signal design standards

Knowledge of MTO Contract Preparation System (CPS)

Knowledge of ANSI/IES, Transportation Association of Canada standards and Ontario Electrical Safety Code as they relate to lighting and traffic signals
