2 years of working experience as an Electrician

Knowledge of Federal/Provincial building codes.

Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors.

Splice, join, and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits.

Certified Electrician with 3-5 years of experience in fast-paced industrial setting

Skilled in troubleshooting various equipment: punch presses, MIG welders, spot welders, robotic welders, and hydraulics

Performing scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to identify and prevent equipment problems

Collaborating with other workers during equipment installation or maintenance activities

Conducting tests on electrical equipment or systems to verify their proper functionality

Developing or making modifications to industrial electronic devices, circuits, or equipment based on specifications

Minimum 3 years’ experience at Journeyman Electrician level.

Experienced with 480 and 600 VAC, 3 phase along with lower voltages.

Experience with trouble shooting and preventive maintenance of large DC and AC motors/drives.

Experience with troubleshooting Allen Bradley and Delta V Control Logix PLC’s.

Experience with AC and DC drives in fan, pump, and conveyor applications.

Experience with HMI touch screens

Shift: Rotational Shift - 8 hours (Days/Afternoon/Nights) every 2 weeks

- Strong PLC troubleshooter (Siemens, Omron, and Allen Bradley PLC's)

Must be willing to work other shifts or perform other duties/tasks that are request of reasonable request by Management

Constant communication with employees, support Departments and Management

COQ Industrial Electrician with minimum 5 yr experience

Thorough knowledge of blue print reading and interpretation

Good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC

Support and contribute to the Quality Systems and Environmental Systems requirements

Proficient working within a Maintenance Management Software, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system is considered an asset

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, College education / College of Trades (Trades specific) and/or apprenticeship

Must have a minimum of five 5 years' Industrial experience

Assist with improvements of current infrastructure and troubleshooting equipment issues.

Review electrical schematics / use information to trace or complete electrical installation

Label machinery & equipment with relevant electrical ratings & sources of power.

Must be able to work in a multi-skilled environment with maintenance aptitude to learn skills other than area of expertise

Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are required, as well as a strong analytical ability and attention to detail

3 to 5 years' experience in preventative maintenance, continuous improvement (Kaizen) and maintenance

Support manufacturing processes including injection molding, robotics, frame welding, seat assembly, IR ovens, presses and door panel assembly

Internal and external departmental communication

Read and interpret blue prints, schematics, drawings and machine specifications

Grade 12 education with strong math skills.

Holds a current Trades Qualification certification, interprovincial standing, or exemption.

Provide coaching and support to apprentices and helpers, fostering a collaborative and skilled workforce.

Minimum 2 years of commercial electrical experience in the Greater Vancouver

Knowledgeable in all practical and theoretical facets of the electrical construction trade.

Good communication and writing skills with the ability to maintain a daily log.

Electrical Certificate of Qualification (309A or 442A)

Minimum two years experience as an Industrial Electrician.
