Knowledge of the waste management industry and environment related to waste facilities.

Successful completion of a College Diploma in Environmental Studies/Sciences, Business or a related field, approved equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Knowledge of and experience with ISO systems (preferably 9001 and 14001).

Knowledge and demonstrated ability in corporate core competencies including customer focus, communication, collaboration and personal ownership.

Supports procurement processes such as the processing of contracts, RFP’s quotations and various reports, as assigned.

Reviews information to make recommendations, update and assist with maintenance of processes and procedures. 

Support project team in contract negotiations and management with our subtrades;

Assist with updating the established construction schedule and preparing change order management;

Certificate, diploma or degree in Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related field;

At least one to two (1-2) years of experience in space planning and design, tenant improvement and special projects construction;

Aid Project Managers in the organization and distribution of project related documents and drawings from manufacturers, suppliers and subcontractors.

Some preparation of pre-qualification packages for the division.

2-4 years of project coordination experience within construction industry would be ideal.

Must have good organizational and time management skills;

Must be proficient in the Windows 10 environment, file management and data conversion;

Must be certified or be eligible for certification as a Technician with O.A.C.E.T.T. or other recognized professional organization;

Must have proven verbal and written abilities;

5-10+ years in logistics and transportation or a combination of transferable skills and experience

Hybrid model provides flexibility for working in-office and from home

Previous experience in oilfield dispatching is considered an asset

Highly developed communication, organization, and critical thinking skills

12 hours shifts on a rotation 5/4 schedule;

Demonstrated experience and a strong understanding of project management principles is required
