Five to seven years progressive communications and marketing experience at the senior level within a large, complex, multi-faceted organization.

Works with senior management and People Services to translate CLBC's brand and strategic goals and determine related employee communications priorities

An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered

Familiarity with social services and inclusion programs for individuals with developmental disabilities is an asset

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing

Minimum of Five (5) years of experience in communications, ideally internal communications and/or employee engagement in a large, complex organization

Demonstrated experience in writing, editing and use of current communications technology and platforms

Strong organizational and project management skills

Provide insight and counsel to senior management and other business stakeholders in relation to internal communications matters

• Ensure staff are kept up-to-date on important news and can share information and raise concerns;

• Draft messages, speeches, scripts and presentations for senior executives for dissemination to employees;

• Liaise closely with CEO, Executive Assistant, and Human Resources team on key communications and deliverables;

• Provide advice and guidance to staff on the use of organizational corporate branding and identity;

Intranet and website management experience, as well as familiarity with social network platforms

4 to 7 years’ experience in internal communications, preferably at a bank or other financial institution

Manages internal crisis communication issues including developing crisis communication plans and preparing crisis key messages.

Assists the Director of Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Relations and Manager of Strategic Communications and Engagement in facilitating internal events.

Manages all formal communications from the Board to stakeholders and ensures messaging is aligned to strategic initiatives.

Manages the maintenance and communication of the strategic plan and key strategic priorities.

Minimum of 5 – 7 years progressive experience leading internal communications and engagement initiatives.

3 – 4 years of leadership experience

Own and manage intranet content creation, utilization and evolution.

Apply knowledge of company goals and organizational initiatives to conceptualize and deliver effective employee communications campaigns with measurable results.

5+ years of experience developing and executing internal communication programs, ideally in a multi-national or distributed work environment.

Experience and comfort collaborating closely with C-suite executives and handling sensitive issues and confidential business matters.

Experience managing an organization wide intranet, preferably utilizing the Simpplr platform.

Working knowledge of Google Drive, MS Word, PowerPoint, and digital and social media platforms

Specialized knowledge in communication management, culture, employee relations, employee engagement, high level writing skill, graphic design, and video editing.

Aligning programming with employee engagement and change management efforts through active participation on all relevant committees and working groups (project-specific).

Providing line management for two employees including coaching, developing team members in inclusive environment.

Minimum 6-9 years of experience
