3-4 years of retail experience (in merchandising )

1-2 years of supervisory / coaching experience

Action procedures to uphold all merchandising standards, including current pricing, signage, planograms and seasonal promotional displays.

Take a lead role in the inventory process, including the coordination and execution of the receiving area.

Successful completion of high school is preferred.

Strong ability with customer services and sales

Demonstrated medication administration skills as outlined in the LPN Scope of Practice.

Comprehensive knowledge of other health care disciplines and their role in client and family care.

Knowledge and practice within the standards dictated by the BCCNM for LPNs.

Broad knowledge of working with Medical, Surgical and Palliative clients.

Demonstrated skill in CPR techniques.

Demonstrated word processing and database skills and computer literacy to operate a computerized client and scheduling information system.

Assisting the Program Manager with administrative activities and optimal use of resources.

Supporting the planning, implementation (including identifying resource implications) and evaluating initiatives for Home Support Scheduling.

Recommends and implements quality improvements that will ensure effective and efficient standardized operations and maintains statistical and various operational reports.

Supports staff through training, orientation, guidance and implementation of effective standardized processes and guidelines.

Audits work of designated staff related to the client scheduling of home health services.

Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.

Support & guide case management staff with the development and execution of Coordinated Care and Case Plans for clients.

Support with implementing the operational responsibilities of programs/services/initiatives.

Support Manager with recruitment processes for new staff

Support the Manager with the planning and implementation of staff development.

Support Manager in the development of strategies to address tenancy and building issues.

Experience working with seniors and persons with disabilities preferred
