Gather, analyze and prioritize business requirements by conducting workshops in co-ordination with cross-function organizations.

Support the information systems and operate according to internal standards, external accrediting agency standards and legal requirements.

A related certification in business analysis or project management.

Manage and test regulation and legislative requirement changes.

Proficient Knowledge of PSQuery, PeopleTools PeopleCode, SQR, XML, SQL, web page development tools and productivity software products (Microsoft Office, 365, Adobe).

Experience in a post-secondary setting is an asset.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or business analysis with capabilities in defining and understanding functional solutions, or equivalent experience

Actively participate and lead requirements gathering workshops as input for identifying the various business needs and necessary automation initiatives

5+ years of relevant working experience

3+ years of functional analysis or process modeling experience

Ability to set clear expectations with stakeholders and negotiate on the requirements and timeline when needed

Good modeling, analytical, conceptual and communication skills

Proficient in using tools and techniques for process modeling and requirement management.

Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and designers, to gather and analyze functional requirements for our SaaS platform.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex requirements into actionable tasks.

Solid experience in gathering and documenting functional requirements, user stories, and use cases.

Translate requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.

Create clear and concise documentation, including system requirements, process flows, and user guides.

Develop, implement, and document PeopleSoft functional, business, and/or system requirements specifications.

ERP Functional Analyst (Level 3) - PeopleSoft.

Public sector client occasionally visits client sites in Ottawa.

Advanced knowledge of broad scope of computerized Business Systems such as PeopleSoft, Kronos, Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (HRCM).

Advanced knowledge of relational and multidimensional databases and strong Structured Query language (SQL) skills.

Knowledge and experience working with complex computer based business and data systems, data integrity process check and internal controls.

Extensive experience with complex Business systems, project planning and control are essential.

Strong computer and financial business systems skills including demonstrated ability to productively use spreadsheet, word processing, presentation and database applications.

Specific Qualifications Or Experience Required

Develop plans for defining requirements, complete with approach, stakeholders, schedules, and deliverables.

Produce detailed configuration specifications and/or functional design specifications that meet business requirements and align with the solution architecture;

Minimum of ten (10) years experience in this role or a similar role;

Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and SAP;

Five years business analysis experience and having developed strong business analysis skills

Nice to have experience or certification with: M365, Nintex forms & workflows, InfoPath forms, Plumsail.

Three years experience building solutions with Power Platform (PowerBI, Power App, Power Automate).

Experience in translating business requirements into IS capabilities and solutions.
