Create support content such as offer 1-pager or proposals (using templates) for sales & pre-sales team

Job type: Full-time/Part-time Internship OR Co-Op (20h-40h per week)

Location: Hybrid work model, office in Financial District downtown Toronto

Perform market research on trends and demands to help develop service catalog

Bachelor's degree required; or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Prior Equity Research Experience would be an asset.

Experience in economic and financial analyses.

Some Of Your Regular Responsibilities Will Include

Creating and maintaining spreadsheets including financial models and industry databases

2-3 years industry experience related to field of study (mining engineering, mining technology, geology, earth sciences, metallurgy, and/or capital markets)

Strong writing, financial modeling and verbal communication skills

Strong computer skills (Excel) with ability to quickly learn new platforms (Bloomberg, FactSet, etc.)

Detail oriented with solid analytical skills

Previous experience in the natural resources/extractive sector or Research related role a plus (preferred)

Develop and enhance detailed company specific and industry macro financial models

Proven time management skills tofacilitatethe completion of multiple tasks in parallel in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment;and

Advanced knowledge andproficiencywith Microsoft Office. Bloomberg experience an asset;

Dual academic background in life science and/or (bio)pharmaceutical company experience an asset, but notrequired;

Experience performing financial and valuation analysis in Microsoft Excel;

Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal;

Support two senior equity research analysts;

Develop and maintain business relationships with company management teams and industry experts.

Preferably from industry / buy-side setting in the investment management industry including mutual fund, hedge fund, investment management firms, etc.

8+ years related working experience, be familiar with the Hongkong capital market and Chinese stocks.

• Knowledge of financialstatements (Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Balance Sheet)

• Knowledge of fundamentalinvesting is preferred (i.e. discounted cash flows, competitive analysis,financial statementanalysis, etc.)

• Strong business writingskills in the form of research reports and white papers

• You love tellingcaptivating stories, you enjoy writing for the institutional investingprofessionals and do it well
