Reporting to the VP of Portfolio Management, Subterra Capital Partners is hiring an exciting role, Project Coordinator!

Strong knowledge of HVAC design and engineering concepts;

Strong knowledge of energy modelling (including use of software);

2-5 years of experience in engineering;

Client facing experience is considered an asset;

Min of 3-5 years of relevant project management and/or engineering experience.

Plan, coordinate and review engineering requirements and responsibility between disciplines, supplier and contractors.

A Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng.) or EIT or equivalent Technologist Certification or eligible for any of the above.

Participate in project risk assessments, evaluation (i.e. BVOA’s) and design review sessions to identify and develop project scope, schedules and costs.

Provide technical and troubleshooting support to project team, suppliers and field teams on a day-to-day basis.

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology or similar field.

Must have strong computer (MS Office) and project management skills

Use appropriate project management (IIM) and reporting disciplines throughout the project life cycle

Gain the experience and competence in multiple areas of the business

Minimum 8 years’ experience in Engineering, preferably in the Food Manufacturing industry

Execute medium to large-sized technical projects in Give & Go’s manufacturing plants as a part of the Engineering team

Execution encompasses the investigation, creation of solutions, sourcing equipment, managing installations and start-ups

Minimum of five years’ experience in project management.

Anticipate and plan for changes in project scope, schedule, or costs. Prepare documentation and obtain management approval.

Implement engineering excellence and enterprise risk management.

Leverage petrochemical project experience and provide appropriate project execution.

Minimum of 10 years of experience with a focus on the refining and petrochemicals businesses.

Execute capital projects according to scope, schedule, and budget.

• Certification in project management methodologies such as PMP an asset.

• Solid time management, organizational and planning skills.

• Management of engineering and other project consultants.

• Assigning tasks to internal teams, assisting with schedule and risk management and with budget preparation.

• Working closely with the Project Managers to understand project objectives.

• Liaising with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives.

Excellent organization and time management skills.

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electro-Mechanical preferred), or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.

Efficiently and effectively manage multiple projects and business opportunities in North America and abroad (Europe, Asia).

Prior experience with standards and regulations (i.e.: UL, CSA, HGV) is preferred.

Excellent communication skills, in both verbal and written formats.

Product Safety, Testing and Evaluation to national and international standards, including UL, CSA, HGV, ISO, and IEC standards.

Management of engineering and project life cycle

Management of Internal resources, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project progression and delivery

Proactive quality control and risk management

Must have a P. Eng with 5 years experience and be eligible to practice in BC

Must have experience working in a similar capacity/role, in a consulting, EPCM, or engineering services environment

Hybrid Environment (Work Monday, Friday, plus one other day in the office, and two days from home)

Good working knowledge project management principles and roles

Good understanding of Project Management processes.

A minimum four (4) years of working experience in leading multi-discipline design teams and in protection, control, and telecom systems.

Good working knowledge of design and transmission lines, an asset

A minimum ten (10) years of experience in a relevant engineering field or equivalent.

Project Managers: 10+ years of related experience in oil and gas, particularly refinery/processing facility capital/MOC/maintenance projects or pipelines/pipeline facilities

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a project engineering (4 years for project managers) role

Coordinating with other disciplines to ensure inter-discipline requirements of design interface and schedule dependencies are met

Project Engineers: 6 to 10 years of related experience in oil and gas, particularly refinery/processing facility capital/MOC/maintenance projects or pipelines/pipeline facilities

Brownfield project experience is required

Strong project management, organization and documentation abilities

Maintaining and managing project budgets including forecasting costs and risk management

Managing assigned capital projects including developing project requirements, project scope, budget and schedule

Knowledge of construction industry practices and standards; knowledge of airport operations is an asset

Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

Supporting Intermediate and Senior Project Engineers with the delivery of larger or more complex projects

Managing project engineering and execution for the brewery and lead the project process ensuring to meet MCBC requirements

Working with operational, business, and marketing teams to identify current and future CAPEX business requirement specifications

You have a   Bachelor ’ s   degree   in Engineering   OR equivalent experience (4+ years)

You have at   least   4 years direct work experience

Supports the technical team in drafting and consolidate submission responses.

Performs field reviews in accordance with EGBC Field Reviews during construction.

Degree in Engineering (preferably Civil) and membership as an Engineer in Training with EGBC.

Project Management experience on small projects or experience managing project tasks is preferred

Excellent task and time management skills

A broad knowledge base in aspects of street design and understanding of civil engineering drawings

Specific knowledge of roadway geometric design or streetscape design

Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications

Knowledge of civil engineering design software: Civil 3D, OpenRoads, Inroads, and/or Geopak

Estimating, Project Controls, Contracts Management, Quality Management and/or Project Management experience is an asset

Participate and advance continuous improvement of Ausenco design standards, project management procedures, and other added value initiatives

Manage interfaces between engineering / procurement / logistics / contracts and the construction team to resolve issues impeding contractor progress

Manage client relationships for potential and existing projects and interface directly with sub-consultants, and vendors

Ability to work closely with Senior Project Managers and Discipline leads to execute work

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential

Previous project management experience on projects US$5m - $15m total value.

Demonstrable commitment to HSE Management in a project environment, leadership and communication skills and a high level of client/customer focus.

Adhere to all environmental policies and ensure effective implementation of Metal Leaching and Acid Rock Drainage management plans.

Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and management.

Establish a risk management focus for the project lifecycle including maintaining project risk registers.

Technical Diploma in Engineering, Geomatics or Construction Management.

Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

Provide field engineering services for the Construction Management (CM) team for a major tunnel project in the Lower Mainland

Support the Construction Manager and Assistant Construction Manager in preparing deliverables related to contract administration/construction management.

Effectively manage multiple tasks in a timeline manner is critical

4-8 years experience, heavy civil and tunnelling experience preferred

Ideally is a registered P.Eng. or an EIT close to meeting P.Eng requirements

Project management professional (PMP) certification is considered an asset.

Familiarity with Quality Management Systems.Experience with CO2 capture technologies, or inexperience in a start-up environment a plus.

Identify, manage and mitigate project risk.

Liaise with and report project status: progress, schedule and costs and to Manager, Capital Projects.

Experience in HAZID, HAZOP and other risk analysis and assessment tools is desired.

4 to 8 years of experience in process engineering, project engineering, chemical plant projects, or chemical plant operation.
